DeathStroke Poster

(What is DeathStroke?)

This is a final project for Advanced Photoshop Course. The technical requirements decided how complicated it was. I spent a lot of time reseaching and thinking about what kind of feeling I will create. However, once I start doing it, it went quite smoothly. There are a few composited photos with masks.

Firstly, I masked out the monster under Deathstroke, color-corrected the shrines and the moon. Masking out some part of every photo that I don't need. Then I use high-pass method to make the figure standing out more. The Flying Board is created by Illustrator and layer styles. The title is manipulated by a metal feel layer style. The font's shape is changed by dragging down using pen tool. There are bunch of blending modes too. Finally, the poster was setup as a PDF with trim marks and ready for printing.
